What's a code
A code is a string (like claimo.me/AXK) you claim with a one-time payment — no subscription, no renewal fees. It works as your own personal shortcut — point it wherever you like (your website, social profile, portfolio), turn it into a mini profile page with links and a payment QR code, or turn it into a collectible card you help design. You can reconfigure what it does anytime, and it's yours for good — unlike free links, which are only temporary (more on those below). If we ever did decide to shut Claimo down, we're committing to this now: at least 6 months' advance notice by email to every code owner before anything changes, and a full refund for any code claimed within 90 days of that announcement, since you wouldn't have gotten meaningful use out of it yet.
Tiers
- Downtown — 2 letters only (no numbers). The smallest, rarest pool — just 676 possible combinations — so the highest price, €25.
- District — 3 letters only. Moderately scarce (17,576 combinations), €8.
- Countryside — 4 letters only. The largest letters-only pool (456,976 combinations), so the cheapest of the three, €2.
- Custom — anything 5+ characters, or anything with numbers — your name, a nickname, a brand, whatever you like. Not scarcity-based, flat €15.
Downtown, District, and Countryside are all letters-only, so every code you claim in one of those tiers automatically becomes a tile on the Claimo Map. Custom codes (because of numbers or length) don't — they work purely as your own link, outside the map.
Claiming a code
Search for a specific code or browse what's available, then claim it with your name and email — pay once, and it's yours permanently, no subscription or renewal.
Setting it up
After claiming, you'll get an email with a one-time setup link — no password needed. Choose redirect mode to send visitors straight to your own link, card mode to show a small profile page (name, bio, a link, and optionally a payment QR code), or collectible mode to turn the code itself into a collectible card — pick a style and draw your own border and back-of-card pattern, no text fields to fill in either way. You can also upload a photo for a profile card, which goes through a quick review before it appears publicly, and choose to stay anonymous if you'd rather your name not show up.
Claimo Map
Every Downtown, District, or Countryside code you claim also becomes a colored tile on the Claimo Map — a living picture built entirely from what people have claimed. Browse the map, zoom in on smaller tiles with the magnifier, or split one photo across several of your own tiles to make a mosaic picture.
Collectible cards
Prefer not to set up a redirect or profile? Collectible mode turns your code into a trading-card-style visual — you pick the style and draw your own border and back-of-card pattern, while the colors and an edition number (based on when you claimed it, out of that tier's total, or a plain serial for Custom) are generated automatically. No photo, bio, or links to fill in, no extra fee, and it still shows up as its own tile on the Claimo Map. Once you save your design, it's locked in for good.
Buying multiple codes at once
Want more than one code? Turn on "Select multiple" to add several codes to a cart and check out together in one payment, with one setup link for all of them.
Managing your code
Head to "Manage my code" anytime — look up your codes by email, or check on one you already know, verify with a one-time code sent to your inbox, and edit your redirect or card. Choose to remember your device so you don't have to re-verify every visit.
Free links
Don't want a permanent code? Use the free link tool — paste a link, get an instant link.claimo.me/xxxxx link, no account or email required. Clicking a free link briefly shows where it leads before continuing, as a safety check. It's temporary: if nobody clicks it for 30 days, it expires.
Reporting content
See something that shouldn't be there? Every code and free link has a report option. We review reports and can suspend a code's content while we look into it — see our Terms & content policy for the full rules.
